What is it and how does it work?

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) is the process of organically being listed by search engines when specific keywords are typed into them. Other listings that appear are sponsored Pay per Click adverts and are paid for via a bidding process and they appear on the top and right side of the page.

The value of being found on the internet can not be overstated as the levels of business generated by the Internet runs into billions of Pounds. However, unless your business appears on the first page of a search engine the realistic chances of generating business from that listing is very small.
